My Baby Turned 3

I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything for awhile but my life has been a little busy lately. My kids got the chicken pocks so I felt like I was holed up in my house for about two weeks. But they are over that now so I'm good to get back to normal. We had an uneventful Memorial Day weekend. The weather was crappy so we just hung out at home. It was really nice and peaceful though. Breanna turned three today. We had a little party with close family nothing real fancy. She loved all her gifts. She was so excited about her birthday. She would keep reminding me that her birthday was coming up. She wasn't about to let me forget about it. I swear without kids in our life it sure would be boring. I love being a Mom it is the greatest gift in the world. Justin took these pictures of me with the kids and entered me in a contest at a radio station, with this first photo, for who is the Hottest Momma! You guys will have to vote for me. Spring is in the Air!

I just love spring time. My tulips are in full bloom so I just had to take a picture and share. I guess the reason that I love spring so much is because it means the cold winter is over and summer is approaching. I LOVE SUMMER TIME! I just hope that we can play a little this summer, but I just don't know what with all the prices of EVERYTHING skyrocketing especially GAS! I will try to make the best of it though. Tell me if you agree.

Spider Head, Spider Head!

Last night me and Justin were just laying on our bed upstairs. We had told the kids to go downstairs and get their pajamas on. SOOO.... then we heard Breanna coming up the stairs after about five minutes singing the spider man song but with her own twist to it. " Spider Head, Spider Head, He Can Do What a Spider Head Does". We were already laughing when we heard that but then she came around the corner dressed in her spider costume from Halloween mind you with nothing on underneath. Then we just busted up laughing. What a character!!!!

What a pair. They look so much alike and they really act so much alike too. I just get a kick out of them. I love to see my little one look so much like her Dad. Don't tell him but that's why I married him! When I was dating him I always thought he would make cute kids and I was right.

Justin's a Cat Man Now!

Well I guess the biggest news here is that Justin got a new job. He now works at Wheelers Caterpillar and he has been working there for about a month now and is loving it. They hired him to be an equipment mechanic. He really likes the change in his everyday routine. He used to work at Color Country Diesel and fix the over the road semi's. But he is really liking the equipment. Taylor loves to visit Dad at work and see all the big Loader's and Excavators and know that his Dad fixes them. I just love to see him get so excited about what his Dad does. I am posting a few pics of CAT's and some crazy ones too.

Finally a Child Lock That Works!

OK here is the story. Breanna used to stay in her room when it was time to go to bed because we had a child lock on the inside of her door knob. Taylor would behave and stay in his room because he knew she was going to bed so life was great. But then... Just recently she has out smarted those door knob locks so the last few night's it has been really hard to get her to stay in her room and go to sleep and Taylor would always follow her. It always came down to a spanking after about five times of putting her in her bed and she getting out. Sooooo tonight Justin got tired of it and he devised a plan. He, He, He. I got such a kick out of it I had to blog it. Taylor's and Breanna's rooms are right across from each other so Justin got a cord and tied it from one door knob to another. Let me just say the kids were not too happy about it!!!
